What are the tips for everyday use?
The raw finish may develop a natural patina over time. To keep your steel furniture in perfect condition for many years, it is important to follow a few maintenance tips and precautions.
First, avoid placing hot or sharp objects directly on the table surface, as they could damage the protective coating. It's best to use placemats and coasters to protect it.
It is also advisable to avoid contact with acidic liquids, such as lemon juice or vinegar, as these can stain or damage the finish. In case of accidental spillage, clean immediately with a soft, damp cloth.
For daily cleaning, simply use a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use abrasive products or rough scouring pads that could scratch the surface.
For long meals, such as Christmas dinners, we recommend placing a tablecloth or waterproof cloth under the decorative tablecloth you plan to use. This will prevent liquids or food residue from seeping through and damaging the table surface. Whether you use a tablecloth or not, it is essential to clean the table after each meal to keep it in pristine condition and prevent the buildup of residue.
Furniture with the Dark, Used, Silver, and Indoor finishes is not suitable for outdoor use. It should only be placed indoors or under a porch. On rainy days, it must be brought inside or completely covered. The Outdoor, Color, and Brown finishes are recommended for outdoor use.

Applying Blunt France wax protects against accidents and reduces signs of wear on the trays in case of intensive use.

What maintenance should be provided for wood?
Blunt France trays are made of solid wood in one piece (no assembly).
Wood is a material that changes over time due to climatic variations depending on the region (heat and humidity).
Some variations in shape or cracks are not inherent to the workmanship but to the material and cannot be the subject of a complaint.
All our wood is treated in our workshops; it may happen that small occupants remain in the sapwood. In this case, simply apply a little xylophene to remedy their presence. These do not pose any risk to surrounding wood. The wood is varnished for interior use. Maintenance is simple; a sponge or window cleaner is sufficient.
The wood is oiled for outdoor use which allows the surface to patinate and gray over time, maintenance is possible with Blunt France products and/or on estimate at any time to restore the original appearance.
